Note: This game is designed for being played fullscreen on a 1920x1080 display. Playing in a smaller window or smaller displays may increase the difficulty.

Folks have also been asking on the "Shoot the target" minigame. The target is shown on the box on the upper right. It will match one of the 5 possible ships around your ship in the center. Shoot the ship that matches what's in the target box to win!

I realized I had some sudden spare time right when GDevelop Weekend Jam 1 started.  With the theme of Warioware/Microgames, I thought it'd be fun to see what I could make. I also wanted to showcase as much of Kenney.nl's awesome assets that has helped the indie dev community so much over the years.

This was made in ~10 hours over the course of the weekend, and most of that was minor tweaking to get the game feel where I wanted it.

I made this exclusively with image and sound effect assets from Kenney.nl, and music from "Of Different Nature" (https://fardifferent.bandcamp.com)

nice! i'm surprised you made all of this for a jam - time limitations really bring the best of us all, eh!
the Match one is surprisingly laggy, while the others were flawless 60fps. Fun!

love it!, i still don't get how you managed this in 10 hours, while mine took 28-32 hours...

Great overall but the jump button needs to be much bigger

(1 edit)

Thanks! The jump button is made small for two reasons:
1. I made sure to not resize any of Kenney's assets. They're all kept at their original size.
2. Having to move over to where the button is is part of the challenge of that level. :D

Edit: Just to clarify on the above as someone else mentioned the concern, this is not to say your feedback is wrong, just to give context on why it was designed that way.

Yeah, that's pretty awesome.

Nice very fun to play But give some better instructions
